Come one, come all! No experience required, sessions are offered most days of the week on Zoom, free of charge.

Every meditation is led by one of a DiabetesSangha facilitator or guest facilitator, nearly all of whom have T1D. Each facilitator has their own style and themes for practice.

DiabetesSangha

is an initiative within the Diabetes Online Community to come together over meditation and contemplative practice.

It’s a recognition that our mental health and our bodily health are not separate, which we are often reminded of as people with Type 1 Diabetes.

It’s our attempt to come together with others like us on a regular basis to sit honestly and heartfully with our experience, with the intention of being restored and growing through practice together.

DiabetesSangha is a nonprofit community dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by Type One Diabetes through the power of meditation and mindfulness. Rooted in compassion and lived experience, we empower individuals to cultivate resilience, clarity, and well-being in the face of T1D.

Our evidence-based programs, retreats, live zoom meditations and resources are created by and for people impacted by Type 1 Diabetes — offering support that is both practical and deeply personal. By fostering connection, inner peace, and shared understanding, we are helping to reshape what it means to live fully with T1D.

DiabetesSangha is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 99-2226791). All donations are tax-deductible and go directly toward expanding our programs, increasing access, and building a stronger, more mindful diabetes community. welcome new ideas as well, so please reach out with any thoughts (peter@diabetessangha.com) as we continue to build out our offerings.
